The "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of the General Assembly Meetings of Joint Stock Companies and the Representatives of the Ministry to be Participated in These Meetings" published in the Official Gazette dated 28/11/2012 and numbered 28481 has been amended with a regulation.
The regulation entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette on 29 May 2021. With the regulation, the list of those who can attend the general assembly meeting; It is regulated that the board of directors will prepare according to the chart of shareholders obtained from the Central Registry Agency in terms of registered shares and bearer shares, shares of other shares that are not registered or registered in a year and the share register records for the shareholders. It is regulated that the said list will be signed by the chairman of the board of directors or one of the members of the board of directors authorized by the chairman.
It has been stated that bearer share certificate holders can attend the general assembly meeting by showing their names or titles in the shareholder chart provided by the Central Registry Agency and proving to the board of directors that they are in possession of the bearer share certificate before signing the list of attendants.
