THE DECISION ON AMEND THE PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES FOR DETERMINING POWER PLANT AREAS OF GENERATION FACILITIES SUBJECT TO PRE-LICENSE OR LICENSES IN THE ELECTRICITY MARKET WAS PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE

It has been decided to amend the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Determination of Power Plant Areas of Generation Facilities Subject to Pre-License or Licenses in the Electricity Market published in the Official Gazette No. 31166 dated 25/06/2020 by EMRA. This Decision was published in the Official Gazette on April 17, 2021. With this amendment, the definition of the plant area has been expanded, and new arrangements have been made in the way of determining the plant area. In addition, with the newly added article, the total mechanical power of the units based on auxiliary sources that can be installed in power generation facilities with multiple sources has been regulated. According to this regulation, the mechanical installed power of the units based on the auxiliary source cannot exceed 100 MW.
