The decision approving the Air Agreement signed between Turkey and the Government of Djibouti in order to facilitate the expansion of opportunities regarding international air services and to ensure safety and security in international air services was published in the Official Gazette on 07.05.2021.
Parties in accordance with the agreement; it has granted the right to fly over the other party country without landing, the right to stop in certain parts of the other country due to traffic and the right to stop in the party country for purposes other than traffic.
In addition, states parties will be exempted from duties and taxes in terms of aircraft depots loaded on the aircraft, oil-fuel supplies added to the aircraft and customary promotional materials distributed free of charge on international flights.
In accordance with the agreement, the other party will fulfill the request within 30 days from the date on which one of the parties notifies their request to ensure air services security.
This Agreement has been signed indefinitely.
