"The International Combined Freight Transport Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Georgia" signed on 19 July 2016 was approved by the President's Decree and published in the Official Gazette on 07.05.2021.
This Agreement has been signed in order to facilitate freight transportation between the parties. In the agreement, combined freight transport is defined as "intermodal freight transport, where most of the transport is carried out by rail or sea, and where the land route is used as short as possible at the start and endpoints".
The parties of the agreement have accepted that they will work on the promotion of combined freight transportation.
This Agreement has been signed indefinitely and will expire 6 months after the date on which one of the parties notified the termination.
