The “Regulation on Amending the Petroleum Market License Regulation” issued by EMRA came into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 08.06.2021 and numbered 31505.
The conditions for fulfilling the requests for distributor, bunker delivery, lubricants and dealership license applications have amended. Accordingly, it has been made compulsory for these applicants not to have overdue premium and administrative fine debt to the Social Security Institution and not to have overdue debts within the scope of Article 22/A of the Law on Collection Procedure of Public Receivables.
With the amendment, distributor license holders are obliged to make the following sales; A minimum of 20,000 tons of white product in the second calendar year following the distribution license, a minimum of 30,000 tons of white product in the third calendar year, a minimum of 40,000 tons of white product in the fourth calendar year, and a minimum of 60,000 tons of white product (gasoline and diesel oil) annually from the fifth calendar year. It was stated that the license of the distributor license holder who does not fulfill the minimum sales obligation will be terminated.
