In the Official Gazette dated 17 February 2021 and numbered 31398, published "The Communiqué on the Turnover Loss Support Program and Implementation Principles to be Provided to Enterprises Operating Food and Beverage Service Due to the Coronavirus Epidemic" by the Ministry of Commerce.
The Communiqué has been prepared in order to determine the procedures and principles for the turnover loss support program to be given to businesses engaged in food and beverage service activities that have been damaged by the coronavirus epidemic due to the restriction of their activities. In this communique, the conditions for benefiting from the support program, application conditions, evaluation, objection and support payment was regulated. The business operating in the field of food and beverage, that started before the 2019 calendar year or in the 2019 calendar year and has an active obligation as of 27/1/2021, and if it has turnover of 3 million Turkish Liras and below in 2019 and a turnover in 2020 that decreased by 50% and more than 50% compared to 2019 turnover it has been arranged that they can benefit from this support program only once, based on their main field of activity.Support program will be announced on the website of the Ministry of the deadline to apply was described from the internet and www.turkiye.gov.tr. The amount of the aforementioned support was determined to be no less than 2,000 Turkish Liras and not more than 40,000 Turkish Liras. It has been stated that the turnover loss support will be deposited into the bank account of the beneficiary notified during the application and confirmed electronically.
