Communiqué on Making Amendments to the Communiqué on the Stamp of Trust in Electronic Commerce published in the Official Gazette No. 30088 was published in the Official Gazette No. 31406 dated February 25, 2021.
The purpose of the Communiqué on the Stamp of Trust in Electronic Commerce is to ensure the safety and service quality conditions to be complied with; the activities and obligations of the provider of the trust stamp and the giving of the trust stamp, set to make arrangements for its suspension and cancellation. The conditions for service providers and intermediary service providers who want to get a stamp of trust, as described in article 5 of the Communiqué, have changed. It was announced that all transactions involving personal data and payment information will be carried out on the website, mobile site and application with EV SSL or SSL. In article 9 of the aforementioned Communiqué, it was stated that the provider of the trust stamp is obliged to follow the validity periods of EV SSL or SSL, not one of the EV SSL and SSL owned by the service provider and intermediary service provider.
